Pumpkin Pie

There is nothing like a slice of pumpkin pie to welcome in Fall. This wonderful holiday dessert is filled with tons of wonderful vitamins, minerals, and so so much more!
The pumpkin alone contains zinc, selenium, vitamins A, C, and E, iron, calcium, magnesium and potassium! Not only is it loaded with antioxidants, but it also contains beta-carotene which gives it that beautiful orange color.

The spices in pumpkin pie are warming to the body and helps stimulates appetite. The combination of cinnamon, cloves, and ginger provide antibacterial and antiviral benefits to this delicious dessert, not to mention the anti-inflammatory benefits of ginger.

These wonderful nourishing properties of pumpkin pie makes it a dessert a child of any age can indulge in!
